Therapeutic Services

Lifeline, at its core, is a clinical program where educational services are also provided. All students at Lifeline are deemed to benefit from supportive services that help alleviate behavioral challenges and ensure educational successes.

To that end, Lifeline offers several “related” services in addition to the educational services that are provided.

Lifeline staff including psychiatrists, nurse, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists and speech therapists. Depending on assessed needs for the student determined in the formulation of the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP), various related services will be prescribed and delivered during the school day.

In our school program, the NYC DOE provides many of the related services through DOE staff, however, Lifeline provides all mental health services which include medical/psychiatric, social work and psychology.

Our clinical team are all licensed and/or certified, where applicable, to work with and address the various challenges that our young people present. The work is caregiver/family focused and inclusive in its approach.
